My background in social media stemmed from my daughter begging me to "be her neighbor for Farmville" on Facebook. I became intrigued with popularity and possibilities of social media.

Since that time, I have utilized all that the many social media sites have to offer. I began using social media for an Amish furniture store business that I owned and found it a great way to be in touch with my customers and showcase the fine furniture pieces we received in the store.

I began to research social media sites and strategies. Through my various networking organizations, I discovered that may business owners and individuals could benefit from my knowledge. Recognizing the need as well as the opportunity so I started my new business, Follow Me Social Media Consulting.

I have now given this insight to many other individuals, companies, non-profit organizations and groups who are realizing the benefits of a social media strategy.

Whether it is classes, page set-ups, or daily monitoring and maintenance of businesses social media, I can help anyone become socially acceptable.
